Grand Tokaj Terroir Selection Kővágó Furmint, 2022

This single-vineyard Furmint is a true expression of the volcanic soil of the Kővágó terroir in Mád. The hand-harvested and selected bunches, after gentle pressing, are fermented and matured in new 500-liter Zemplén oak barrels. The wine is characterized by refined minerality, the smell of stones after rain. Wild and white flowers, juicy exotic fruits and flower honey arrive in the nose. Its complexity is pleasantly refreshed by lime and peaches, while the salty, mineral notes and some vanilla further enrich the aromas. Medium-bodied, particularly intense Furmint that is memorable for its vibrant style and length. Detailed and harmonious bottle with the potential of great wines.
