Tóth Ferenc Egri Csillag, 2023

The white blend of Egri Csillag is the pairing of the traditional red blend called ‘Egri Bikavér’ of the wine region since 2010. It is a blend of at least 4 grape varieties, of which at least 50% must be from the Carpathian Basin. A dry wine can always be produced in the Classic, Superior and Grand Superior categories.

  • Ageing: The grapes were harvested separately at optimum ripeness for each variety. Processing was carried out both by pressing destemmed grapes and also whole bunches. All the musts were settled and fermented in temperature controlled vats. The fermented wines were aged in tanks on fine lees until bottling.
