A late harvest wine made from overripe, shrivelled and noble rot affected grapes with elegant acidity. Flavours typical of wine coming from volcanic soils of Tokaj Wine Region. Sweet floral nose. Despite of the residual sugar there is a hint of earthiness too but more minerality, with flavours of apricot-mirabelle plum compote.
Serving at 8-10 °C
Serving suggestions:
– it’s again an aperitif-type wine because of the good acidity, could be very good paired with some scallop carpaccio on toast just drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, or some fried oysters
– Sicilian canollo
– baba au rhum
– could be excellent instead of a tea in an afternoon tea
