The first vintage of a parcel planted in 2018. Harvest in late September 2023, in small buckets. Hand harvested. The grapes are cooled with dry ice and delivered quickly to the pressing machine. Gentle whole bunch pressing. The freshly pressed juice is also cooled to avoid oxidation. Yield: 1 kg/vine. Spontaneous fermentation in a 300 liters Hungarian oak barrel.
It was aged in a 300 liters medium toast Hungarian (Kádár) oak barrel for 8 months. No filtration and fining. No sulphur added during the ageing, only at the time of bottling, 25 mg/l.
